Where to buy uniform
Young people may visit the unit for a number of weeks before they make a commitment to join. When a young person decides to join the unit, they will be invested, at which point, they become entitled to wear the Explorer Scout uniform.

Torfean Scout and Guide Shop
The Torfaen Scout and Guide Shop stocks uniform, camping equipment and other Scouting-related products. The shop is currently run from the Glen Llwyd Scout HQ on Saturdays.
Ask one of the Leaders for directions and opening times.
National Schoolwear Centre, Newport
Scout uniform is also stocked by the National Schoolwear Centre, in the Kingsway Shopping Centre, Newport.
